Burger bar was better then most burgers I’ve had in DR.My son has allergies to nuts,eggs and shell fish and the concierge printed us an allergy card that we take to every restaurant and they took it very serious so I appreciated that a lot. The dinner restaurants were pretty good(spice, blue water grill and French especially ) I hated the Italian restaurant the lasagña was nasty. The dessert was good everywhere best part of Buffet is the dessert ! Ice cream at the the parlor was good and the coco cafe was a nice touch. How do you mess up rice and beans in DR ? Barely any real Dominican food aside from mangu they should have an area or restaurant dedicated for this. They couldn’t keep temp consistently on hot food.maybe the AC is to blame I don’t know. Sometimes the food was burned or dry or just plain cold. Food/drinks- 3.5/5 This is where it was not good for us. Hydro therapy includes steam room, sauna, pool, ice pool, jacuzzi, jetstone walking path and cleansing drinks. You basically get 1 hour of hydro therapy and then a 50 minute massage.
I had a great time at the spa (we used the coupons) and for the money spent it was well worth it for me and my husband. Another server at the buffet I forgot his name he works the front section towards the back right, during breakfast had us laughing the whole time. Katsura ( I must’ve spelled that wrong)was a hostess at blue water grill was great as well, very funny and assisted us a lot.
Jomiset at the pool bar was so sweet and attentive. Very clean and masks are worn everywhere you eat and sanitizer is always encouraged and mandatory to enter food establishments.Shout out to Samuel at the main lobby he was really cool.
Everyone we encountered who worked there was pleasant, helpful and professional. They were very attentive and my son was very keen on them and he likes no one lol so if He’s happy we’re happy! The service at the hotel overall was 5/5. I would like to thank them as they were amazing ! Shout out to Pocahontas, Lady & Liz. They were absolutely wonderful and all smiles. From my understanding the 3 women are trained by the government to care for children.

They had arts and crafts, movie night on the lawn, camping and some games along with pillow fights. But the explorers club, (which serves ages 3-12) had a cute little kids only mini water park and my son is afraid of water ( I know lol) and I let him do a test run and he enjoyed himself so he went a few more times through out our trip and made friends. First and foremost our kids are 1 & 8 years old. Honestly, the Hilight of the trip was the explorers club. Additional babysitting services can be arranged for $20 per hour, per child.So I would rate this hotel a 4/5. A casino and full-service spa is located on the property, as well. Guests of the resort enjoy non-motorized water sports, snorkeling, sailing, kayaking, tennis, volleyball, an infinity pool, a children’s pool, a saltwater pool and two additional pools. For teens, the Core Zone Teens Club is available for ages 13 to 17 from 9 a.m. daily with supervised activities, arts and crafts, movies on the beach, video games and a playground. A kids’ club for ages 3 to 12 is open from 9 a.m. The resort also operates a Sip, Savor & See program with its other resorts, allowing guests to sample Dreams and Now Resorts & Spas.
